Fortix 2 is a mash-up between a reverse tower defense and a constantly shifting puzzle game. Players control Knight Fortix, as he attempts to take back the land of Artalom from the clutches of the evil mage Xitrof.

During his quest, the player will have to assist Sir Fortix from his base line (or safety line) as he runs across the shires boxing-off terrain to recapture it, while simultaneously running through a maze of relentless projectiles and aggressive enemies. Capturing dragons, outwitting ogres and vanquishing hordes of bats is all in a day’s work.

Catapults and power-ups will aid the player in their constant struggle with the surroundings. But, even these great countermeasures can only do so much. Sometimes, the only thing standing between you and glory is a white knuckled mad dash to the other side.

Fortix 2 is a throwback to arcade games I used to play. You walk around the outside line and carve out pieces of the level. Fortix 2 is fun in a very casual way. The game isn't great, but it's a relaxing sort of challenge. Unfortunately, all games of this type suffer from control issues. Still, I would recommend Fortix 2 to anyone who is looking for something casual.
