The year is 2017, during the second major civil war. Mercenary corporations housing large military’s and factories are for the most part in control over the United States. You play a soldier from either OpStat (Operations Statistics and Command) a Mercenary company contracted by the CIA and FEMA or Exode a company that specializes in the creation of both biological and ground war fare weaponry. Both companies have their armies pitted against each other in the fight to take total control. Which company will you choose to fight for?
Make sure you have Microsoft .Net 4.0 installed!
Download and Install Dark Energy, run as Administrator!
Click Desolation Earth from the game bank on the right.
Click download. Then click download again when the dialog pops up.
Wait for download to finish and Dark Energy will prompt you to install.
Once installed Re-start Dark Energy (You will need to patch both Dark Energy and Desolation: Earth)
Once you are done patching you can play! Please be sure to read all directions on the installation program. Desolation: Earth must be installed in the same folder as Dark Energy, by default the installation program does this for you!
