Going to have to agree with
Going to have to agree with djvlive that the game is a mess that nobody should pay for. In fact, nobody should even play it for free, except beta testers, until the continuity errors are dealt with.
I was willing to forgive the blatant grammar and spelling mistakes every other sentence, but when after resting in an INN 1.5 hours into the game I was dumped back into the starting town - that's a different story. This is where the previous reviewer and I differ - I consider the continuity errors to be game breaking, not the awful writing.
On the other hand, regardless of which open library they came from, the art and music assets are quite good, and if the writing and scripting issues are fixed the game could warrant a solid 6/10. Unfortunately that does not seem likely as the creators are already about to release the sequel, which I am sure will have all of the same problems.

***Don't get taken***
I don't mean to be *overly* critical but this game is not worth the $2.50 I took a chance on spending. Watching the youtube trailer makes the game look slightly interesting at a first glance; and supporting an indie developer during the "Because We May" sale has some merit but pass on this one.
It has a unique charm and the art assets do look nice... until you realize this was put together in RPG Maker (probably in a couple of hours) and you wonder how much of the art was actually drawn or just taken from included sprite libraries. The music isn't half bad but continuity errors (like entering a house and appearing in an entirely different part of the game, or NPCs addressing characters in your party you haven't met yet) are common.
Worst, and most appropriately "game breaking", is the dialog and in-game text. Devoid of any punctuation and riddled with spelling errors, it is a complete mess and in most places entirely nonsensical. Even *if* it was properly spelled and used basic grammar, the game's text and story would still read like it was written by a 6th grader (and it quite possibly was).
This should not be sold for money, and wouldn't be worth the download even if it was free.
