1. You need a file manager software. Some device manufacturers provide this with the device, but normally this isn't included. ASTRO File Manager / Browser and ES File Explorer are some popular free choices.
2. Set your Android device (Android version 2.0.1 or newer needed) to work as a portable hard drive and connect it to your PC.
3. Copy the AstroComet.apk file to the Android device.
4. Disconnect your Android device from the computer.
5. Go to the Android device's Settings and activate the option "Allow Unknown Sources." This allows you to install programs from other sources than Google Play. You can turn this back off after the installation.
6. Start up your file manager software and find the AstroComet.apk on your device.
7. Launch the AstroComet.apk file and install it.
8. Play.
